GuestOrbit

BETA Why GuestOrbit

Built by operators. Hosted in Germany.

GuestOrbit takes care of everything after the game: photos, reviews and the next visit. Developed in the day-to-day of an escape room, with servers in Germany and data protection you can explain to your guests with a clear conscience.

Data protection made in Germany

GDPR-ready without becoming a lawyer.

GuestOrbit is run by MaRoJa Escape GmbH from Strullendorf near Bamberg, Germany. Your guest data lives on our server in Germany, and everything you need for the GDPR is already built in.

Servers in Germany

Platform, database and photos are stored in a German data centre.

DPA right in the app

You sign the data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR directly in GuestOrbit – in English or German, no paperwork back and forth.

Double opt-in with version records

Who agreed to which version of a consent text, and when, is recorded.

Waivers with a fingerprint

Every language version of your terms gets its own fingerprint, so you can prove which wording a guest signed.

Review requests with consent

Check-in asks for consent to review emails as required under German competition law (UWG).

Automatic deletion periods

Photos and guest data disappear after the period you set.

Built by operators

We stand at the front desk ourselves.

GuestOrbit comes from the makers of CineRoom Bamberg. Every feature grew out of the everyday life of our own escape room: busy Saturdays, groups arriving at the same time and game masters taking photos on the side.

Day to day

From check-in to the next visit.

All images come from our demo venue “Lumen Escape” with made-up guests.

Photos people share

A group photo only gets shared when it looks like your room. That’s why you design the frames and the photo page yourselves.

  • A frame per room, with team name, time and hints right in the photo
  • Built-in editor with 13 fonts, every field placed freely
  • Enter the result after the photo too – the photo is relabelled
  • Photo page in your own design, optionally introducing your game masters
  • Delivery status of every photo email at a glance

Paperless check-in

No clipboards, no forms to type up. Guests check in on their own phone or on the tablet at the front desk.

  • A QR code per location or per group
  • Waivers signed on the phone
  • Front-desk mode for tablets: resets after every guest, nobody sees anyone else’s data

More reviews and return visits

Happy guests should find it easy to review you – and have a reason to come back.

  • Review links on the photo page and automatic review requests by email
  • Campaigns with audiences like “played room A but not room B yet”
  • Coupons that GuestOrbit creates directly in QuinBook
  • Voucher bot: a bonus coupon for everyone who buys a voucher

Coupons and the voucher bot currently require a QuinBook connection.

You only pay for what you need

A base package for every business, plus modules you add individually – such as review automation, campaigns or the email & photo page designer. What you don’t use, you don’t pay for. See package & modules

  • Go-kart tracksCheck-in on the tablet in front-desk mode, a group photo after the race.

Switching

Common questions when switching.

Can we bring our existing guest data?
Talk to us – we’ll look at what data you have together and help you move.
Do we need a particular booking system?
No. Check-in, photos and reviews work without a booking system. QuinBook is connected for coupons and the voucher bot.
How does the setup work?
During the beta we set up GuestOrbit with you personally: logo, colours, rooms, frames and legal texts. Your team doesn’t need an app, just a browser.
What happens to the data if we stop?
On request, we’ll send you an export of your data, and you can download the data of individual guests yourself. Guest data and photos are also deleted after the periods you set – except for guests who subscribed to your newsletter, as long as they stay subscribed.
